CEC Started to Count Votes

(Tbilisi, June 2, Civil Georgia) – Central Election Commission [CEC] started to count votes. At the moment results of the elections in the 17 constituencies of Tbilisi are counted.

According to the CEC and results of the elections in these 17 constituencies Labor Party of Georgia leads the locals, Mikheil Saakashvili’s National Movement follows the Labor Party.

These two parties also lead in the exit polls results carried by the several public opinion research groups.

CEC reports that 44% of the voters participated in the elections in Tbilisi.
