Police to Take Special Security Measures

The law enforcement agencies will take special measures from October 30 to guarantee security and maintain order in the country during the November 2 parliamentary elections.

Security Minister Valerie Khaburdzania said at a special session in the State Chancellery on August 29, that the law-enforcement agencies will protect all the strategic facilities in the country.

“We anticipate some difficulties on November 2, but any attempt of destabilization will be prevented,” Khaburdzania told reporters.
