Violent Incidents in Tkibuli, Rustavi

According to the Central Election Commission (CEC) armed men intruded one of the precincts of Tkibuli provincial constituency in western Georgia this morning.

The election observer NGO International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) confirmed that group of armed men forced the members of the precinct commission of the precinct and beat the ISFED observer.

Similar incident occurred in one of the precincts of Rustavi city, where dozens of unknown men violently raided the precinct.

The police are on high alert in Rustavi. On November 1 the Interior Ministry issued a statement warning on anticipated destabilization in Rustavi.
