CIS Observers Say Georgian Elections were Fair
CIS Executive Secretary Yuri Yarov said the November 2 parliamentary elections in Georgia were democratic and fair.
Yuri Yarov arrived in Tbilisi on October 28 to head the CIS observers group, which was set up in Tbilisi to monitor the November 2 parliamentary elections in Georgia.
“All the 60 observers from CIS were given free access to monitor the parliamentary elections in Georgia,” Yuri Yarov stated at a news briefing on November 3.
He said, basic violations were observed in Mtskheta and Rustavi. The CIS observers will issue a complete report on the results of the monitoring some of these days.
