Burjanadze: National Movement Won the Elections

“The Burjanadze-Democrats election alliance admits that the National Movement won the elections,” Nino Burjanadze, the Parliamentary Chairperson and the leader of the Burjanadze-Democrats opposition alliance said at a news briefing today.

“It is evident that National Movement won the November 2 parliamentary elections, however we are alarmed with the official preliminary results, according to which the pro-presidential [For New Georgia] bloc leads ,” Nino Burjanadze said.

The Burjanadze-Democrats accused the government of mass ballot fraud.
