Labor Party Condemns Opposition’s Rally
Leader of the Labor Party Shalva Natelashvili condemned today the protest rally launched by the opposition National Movement, the Burjanadze-Democrats election bloc and the Unity election alliance.
“People are tired of you [National Movement, Burjanadze-Democrats]. You have destroyed this country. You should have left politics long ago. You wish bloodshed and try to involve the country in provocations,” Shalva Natelashvili said at a news briefing on November 5.
The leaders of the opposition National Movement and the Burjanadze-Democrats called on the supporters to gather at the Philharmonic Hall by midday on November 5 and hold a rally to prevent the authorities from mass ballot fraud.
The Revival Union, backed by Adjarian leader Aslan Abashidze, and the Industrialists party are also against the protest rallies.
