U.S. Official Visits Georgia

Lynn Pascoe, the Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, will arrive in Tbilisi on November 18.

During the two-day visit he will hold meetings with Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze, State Minister Avtandil Jornebadze, as well as the leaders of the opposition parties – Mikheil Saakashvili, Zurab Zhvania and Nino Burjanadze.

It is anticipated that the current political crisis in Georgia will be in the top of the agenda during the visit of the U.S. official.
