Authorities Increase Security Measures for Saakashvili
The National Security Council decided on December 11 to increase security measures for the presidential candidate Mikheil Saakashvili, who is the most likely to win January 4 presidential elections.
Secretary of the National Security Council Jemal Gakhokidze told reporters that the law enforcers have information regarding the possible attacks against Mikheil Saakashvili.
“We consider asking Saakashvili to move to one of the governmental residence, where he will be more secure,” Jemal Gakhokidze said.
