Co-Chair of New Rights Party Quits Politics
One of the leaders and founders of the New Rights party Levan Gachechiladze announced today that he quits the post of the party’s co-chairman and leaves the politics.
“I leave active politics, and will only remain as an ordinary member of the party. Due to conflicting opinions between me and another leader of the party Davit Gamkrelidze, I decided to quit,” Levan Gachechiladze said at a news briefing on December 20.
Levan Gachechiladze has won the November 2 parliamentary elections in the Vake single-mandate constituency.
