Georgian Foreign Minister Left for Moscow
Georgian Foreign Minister Tedo Japaridze today left for Moscow to discuss the Russian-Georgian relationship with his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanov.
Tedo Japaridze will also meet with First Deputy Foreign Minister of Russian Federation Valerie Loshchinin.
The Georgian Foreign Minister will also discuss the issue of preparation for the visit of Georgian Interim President Nino Burjanadze to Moscow, which is scheduled for next week.
On December 15 Nino Burjanadze met with Russian President Putin in Baku, where both leaders attended the funeral of Azerbaijan?s ex-President Heidar Aliyev.
During the brief meeting Putin reiterated Russia?s willingness for establishment of friendly relations with Georgia and invited Burjanadze to Russia.
