CEC Chief Visited Kvemo Kartli

Chairman of the Central Election Commission Zurab Tchiaberashvili visited today Kvemo Kartli region, in southern Georgia.

International and local observers reported most of the violations during the elections in Kvemo Kartli region, which is predominately populated by the ethnic Azerbaijanis.

Today is the deadline for voter registration procedure, which was started on December 15. According to the CEC, as of December 24 around 1,5 million voters had undergone registration, aiming at making the voter lists.  Final results of the voter registration will be known on December 26.
