State Minister Visits Armenia

Georgian State Minister Zurab Zhvania left for Armenia this morning on a one-day official visit. 


During the visit he will hold meetings with the Armenian President, the Defense and Foreign Ministers, as well as other officials.


The issues of bilateral relations and strengthening of economic ties are scheduled to be discussed.


The Armenian visit was preceded by the State Minister’s visit to Azerbaijan, where Zurab Zhvania discussed the issue of construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
