Kidnapped Banker Released
Georgian law-enforcement agencies today released Tamaz Maghlakelidze, member of the board of trustees of the United Georgian Bank, as a result of a special operation near Tbilisi.
Tamaz Maghlakelidze, who earlier was the chief of the Georgian customs service, was kidnapped at gunpoint on December 5.
Last night Georgian law-enforcement agencies arrested three persons, who have allegedly participated in kidnapping of Tamaz Maghlakelidze.
One of them is an employee of the Georgian Defense Ministry.
The Interior and State Security Ministries are jointly continuing the chase of the remained criminals.
