Saakashvili to Attend Economic Forum in Switzerland

President-elect Mikheil Saakashvili will leave for Switzerland today to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos.  

The issues of economic cooperation will be discussed with the heads of participating countries during the three-day visit to Switzerland.

European Central Bank (ECB) president Jean-Claude Trichet, US commerce secretary Donald Evans and Japan’s economic and fiscal policy minister, Heizo Takenaka, will also attend the World Economic Forum.

It is expected that Saakashvili will visit Paris after attending the Davos Forum.
