Emergency Situations Chief Murdered in Adjara

Temur Inaishvili, head of the Emergency Situations Department of the Adjarian Interior Ministry, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in the center of Batumi on January 18.

“He was shot in the head. The reason of the murder is unknown so far,” Interior Minister of Adjara Autonomous Republic Jemal Gogitidze said on January 18.

He said, this is the second attack on Temur Inaishvili for past period. The first incident caused the death of his mother.
