Russia Extradited Alleged Kidnapper Kingpin to Georgia

Russia extradited to Georgia on January 21 kidnapper suspect Shota Chichiashvili, who was arrested in Moscow on July 24.
 
Georgian Prosecutor General Irakli Okruashvili and Security Minister Valerie Khaburdzania arrived in Moscow today to take personal charge of Chichiashvili’s extradition.

Chichiashvili, 29, is suspected in several high-profile abductions, including the kidnappings of two Spanish businessmen in 2000, Georgian Parliamentarian Petre Tsiskarishvili and the British banker Peter Shaw in 2002.
