CEC Launched Computerization of Voter Lists

The Central Election Commission (CEC) launched to computerize the lists of 2,2 million voters, which underwent voter registration in December-January.

The CEC expects that the computerization will last till the end of February.

The election officials say that the voter registration will continue and the number of voters might increase; however the voters, who will undergo registration from today, will not be included in the computerized lists of voters.

“So, on March 28 parliamentary elections we will have mixed lists, a part will be computerized and the other part – handwritten,” CEC Chairman Zurab Tchiaberashvili told Civil Georgia.
