Abashidze’s Opposition Unites

Public movements Our Adjara and Democratic Adjara, which have been founded recently, announced on February 3 about merger.

Both movements are in the opposition to the Adjarian leader Aslan Abashidze and demand his resignation.  

The union will be co-chaired by Edward Surmanidze of the Democratic Adjara and Koba Khabazi of Our Adjara. The united opposition movement will be named Our Adjara.
