U.S. Ambassador Visits Sukhumi

U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Miles is visiting on February 4 capital of the Georgia’s breakaway region of Abkhazia Sukhumi to hold meetings with the representatives of the authorities of the unrecognized republic.
 
Ambassador Miles told reporters that he visited Sukhumi before the November events and decided to hold talks with the Abkhaz side after the change of government in Georgia as well.

However, he refrained from specifying the details of his meetings in Abkhaz capital.
