Deputy Interior Minister Resigned

Deputy Interior Minister Petre Tsiskarishvili, who was appointed to this post two days ago, filed resignation on February 4.

Reportedly Petre Tsiskarishvili’s resignation was motivated by recent disagreement with Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze.

Recently Petre Tsiskarishvili accused Nino Burjanadze of lobbying her relatives, causing criticism of the Parliamentary Chairperson.
