Ex-Security Minister Becomes Deputy Chief Prosecutor

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said today that former Security Minister Valerie Khaburdzania will be appointed as Deputy General Prosecutor.

Khaburdzania will be in charge of inspection of activities of the Interior and State Security Ministries.
 
“We will do our best to create normal working conditions for the Prosecutor’s Office, to compose it with professionals and increase salaries,” President Saakashvili said at a news briefing on February 18.
