MPs Cut Tbilisi Mayor’s Powers

The Parliament approved on February 24 resolution envisaging cutting powers of the Georgian capital city Tbilisi’s Mayor.

Tbilisi Mayor Vano Zodelava, who was appointed on the post by ex-President Shevardnadze, was against the proposal.
