Georgian President Visits Baku

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili left this morning for Azerbaijani capital Baku for two-day visit.

Mikheil Saakashvili will meet his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on March 4.
 
The issues of bilateral cooperation, regional and international problems, as well as the cooperation of the two countries in implementation of regional energy projects, such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline, will be discussed during the visit.
 
It is anticipated that the two Presidents will sign bilateral documents on cooperation.
 
The Georgian President will also hold meetings with the Chairman and the members of the Azerbaijani Parliament.
