Opposition Rallies Calling Central Authorities for Restraint

Around hundred people are gathered outside the Parliament demanding from the authorities to defuse tensions with the Adjarian leadership and not to use force.

The rally is led mainly by the politicians, which were in the former President Shevardnadze’s party.

The representatives of the opposition say that the central authorities policy towards the Adjara would lead to the country’s disintegration.
