Rightist Opposition Warns over Manipulation of Election Results
The election bloc Rightist Opposition – Industrialists-New Rights alleged that the authorities will try to manipulate with the election results.
“As far as we know, the bloc has garnered significant number of votes, however authorities try to rigged the ballot and leave us outside the Parliament and create one-party Parliament,” Davit Gamkrelidze said at a news briefing on March 30.
With the 85% of votes counted the Rightist Opposition coalition received 7,42% support.
The parallel vote tabulation results, conducted by the election watchdog International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy, suggest that the Rightist Opposition garnered 7,75%.
