Ex-Transport Minister Released from Custody

Former Minister of Transport and Communications Merab Adeishvili was released from custody on April 3 after reimbursement of $1,5 million – sum he allegedly misappropriated while serving as a Minister.

Merab Adeishvili was arrested in February for misappropriation charges and was sentenced to three month pre-trial detention.
