New State Minister Appointed to Supervise Regional Policy

Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania appointed Zurab Melikishvili as the State Minister in charge of regional policy and relations with local government and self-government bodies.
 
Zurab Melikishvili is a member of the ruling National Movement-Democrats party. Before the appointment he served as governor of Kvemo Kartli province.
