Georgia Receives Five Military Helicopters from Ukraine

Five helicopters were delivered to Georgia on April 25 after repair in Ukraine
 
Three Mi-24 and two Mi-14 military helicopters were sent to Ukraine for overhaul in 1999; however due to the lack of funding Georgian Defense Ministry failed to pay for repair, hence the helicopters were in Ukraine till now.

According to the Georgian Defense Ministry an agreement was reached with Ukraine that Georgia will pay USD 3 million debt gradually.
