PM to Meet Abashidze’s Representatives

Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania arrived on May 5 at Choloki administrative border between the Adjarian Autonomy and the rest of Georgia to hold talks with the representatives of Adjarian leader Aslan Abashidze. 

“Aslan Abashidze can not be the leader of the Adjarian Autonomy any more. This is for sure. Now it is important to make power transition in Adjara peacefully,” Zurab Zhvania told reporters before the talks.

“We will meet representatives of Abashidze and make detailed comment after the talks,” he added.
