Russia Endorses Restructuring of Georgian Debts in Paris Club of Donors

Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania has reached an agreement with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Fradkov on restructuring of Georgia’s debt to Russia.

As a result, Russia would pose no obstacle to debt relief efforts by the Paris Club of the donor countries.

It is expected that this decision would help to re-institute the assistance program by IMF in the nearest future.
