PM: Structural Changes in Government Anticipated

Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania said on Thursday that the government is considering  the merger of two ministries, that of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Economy.

?In a couple of days we will decide this issue,? Zurab Zhvania said during his introduction of the new Minister of Economy, Kakha Bendukidze, to the Ministry?s staff on June 3.

The Ministry of Infrastructure was set up in February after the Ministry of Transport and Communications merged with the Ministry of Construction and Urbanization.
