Sukhumi Pledges Assistance for Tskhinvali

The de facto Prime Minister of breakaway Abkhazia, Raul Khajimba, said on June 6 that Sukhumi is ready to send troops to Georgia?s other breakaway republic, South Ossetian, in the event that Tbilisi launches military hostilities in the region.

The Abkhaz news agency Apsnypress reported that in an address made on the local television Khajimba also stated that Tbilisi poses as a threat to both Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
