Infrastructure Ministry Canceled

Georgian Parliament approved on June 15 government?s proposal, envisaging the merger of the Infrastructure Ministry with that of the Economy Ministry.

The Ministry of Infrastructure was set up in February after the Ministry of Transport and Communications merged with the Ministry of Construction and Urbanization. 

Tamar Sulukhia, former Infrastructure Minister, will become Deputy Minister of Economy.
