“The Georgian authorities, as well as the President of Georgia, are utterly concerned about the incident, which occurred in breakaway South Ossetia. We closely observe the recent developments in the region and take care of the existing situation,” Zurab Zhvania said on June 23.

On June 22 Interior Minister Irakli Okruashvili also expressed protest regarding the military exercises and urged the Ossetian side to arrest a person responsible for this incident within 48 hours.
