Civilian Injured in South Ossetia Blast

Giorgi Kakhniashvili, 23, a resident of the Georgian village of Kurta,  in the South Ossetian conflict zone, was severely wounded as a result of the explosion of an unknown explosive device on November 2, reports the Georgian media.


There are conflicting reports about the reasons of explosion. Some reports say that Giorgi Kakhniashvili was injured as a result of a landmine explosion; while Georgian regional officials say that the blast was ?the South Ossetian side?s provocation.?
