State Minister Briefs Cabinet over South Ossetia

State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Goga Khaindrava will inform the Georgian cabinet on November 10 regarding the recent developments in breakaway South Ossetia, particularly about his recent talks with South Ossetian representatives in capital Tskhinvali.


Goga Khaindrava visited Tskhinvali on November 9 to discuss the implementation of an agreement singed by Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania and South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoev on November 5 in Sochi.


?These are routine working meetings which are aimed at the implementation of a top-level agreement,? Goga Khaindrava said after visiting Tskhinvali on November 9.


The main provisions of this agreement include the pull out of non-peacekeeping forces from the conflict zone before November 20; free movement of goods and people; cooperation of law enforcement agencies and the launching of discussions over joint economic projects.
