State Minister: Impossible to Meet Demilitarization Deadline

Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Goga Khaindrava said, on November 17, that the process of demilitarization of the South Ossetian conflict zone can not be completed before November 20, as envisaged by the agreement signed by the Georgian Prime Minister and the South Ossetian de facto President in Sochi on November 5.
 
?The process has been launched; however it will be impossible to end it by November 20, since there are plenty of arms and mined territories in the region,? Goga Khaindrava said at a government?s session on November 17.
