Ardzinba: Abkhaz Opposition Undermines Russia’s Positions

Vladislav Ardzinba in an interview to the Russian newspaper Izvestia says that recent developments in Ukraine and Abkhazia aim at undermining Russia’s influence in the region.

“The [Abkhaz] opposition acts under a well-developed scenario, which is similar to Serbian, Georgian and Ukrainian,” the de facto President stressed.

“However, Russia has enough political and economic levers to oppose this strategy,” he added.
