Georgian Foreign Minister Meets EU Foreign Policy Chief

Visiting Georgia Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili will meet with the EU”s foreign and security policy chief Javier Solana in Brussels on December 9.


Javier Solana”s press office reported that “the meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss EU-Georgia relations, including the EUJUST-THEMIS Rule of law Mission as well as the latest developments in the region.”


The EU launched its first ever “Rule of Law” mission in Georgia on July 16 to help the country in reforming its criminal justice system.


Salome Zourabichvili will also participate in a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council on December 9.
