Abkhaz Government Restructured

According to a decree by outgoing President of the unrecognized Republic of Abkhazia Vladislav Ardzinba, a new structure of the Cabinet was set up, RIA Novosti news agency reported on December 15.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations was set up as a result of the government restructuring. The new Ministry will be led by current Deputy Interior Minister Sergey Matosyan. 
 
The new Cabinet will be composed of a Prime Minister, two Vice-Premiers and 12 ministers. Five state committees and seven state agencies will also be subordinate to the Cabinet.
