Soldier Killed in Vaziani Base

News broke on December 27 that Private Zaur Gadadze, 18, was found dead from a gun shot wound to the head in the Vaziani military base, which is located near Tbilisi.

The Defense Ministry reported that the incident occurred two days ago but has refrained from commenting further.

This is the second case of murder in the Georgian army for past month. Commander of the 21st Brigade of the Georgian Defense Ministry Aleksandre Gabriadze shot his deputy Avtandil Dvalishvili and then committed suicide in late November.
