Georgian PM to Visit Breakaway South Ossetia

Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania will arrive in breakaway South Ossetia and hold talks with the separatist leader Eduard Kokoev on December 30.

Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Goga Khaindrava, who will accompany the Prime Minister to the conflict zone, said that Zurab Zhvania will discuss implementation of the Sochi agreement, envisaging demilitarization of the conflict zone.

Zurab Zhvania also intends to visit Georgian villages of the conflict zone to meet the local population.
