FBI Team Arrives to Probe into Zhvania’s Death, Gori Blast

Deputy Prosecutor General Giorgi Janashia said on February 8 that a team from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation has already arrived in Georgia to probe into late Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania’s death and a car bomb explosion that occurred last week in Gori.
 
“Basically the U.S. experts will provide technical expertise,” Janashia told reporters on February 8.

The U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Miles also confirmed that the FBI experts are in Georgia. He told reporters on February 8 that the FBI team will visit Gori as well.
