Georgian, Moldovan Presidents to Sign Joint Document

During his visit to Moldova on March 2 Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and his Moldovan counterpart Vladimir Voronin will sign a joint document, Medea Akhalkatsi, head of the Georgian President?s Press Office told Civil Georgia.

She did not elaborated about the details of this document; however some reports indicate that this will be similar to that one signed by Saakashvili and Yushchenko in January, known as Karpat Declaration.

The Karpat Declaration alluded to a “third wave of democratization” based on the recent, peaceful revolutions in Georgia and Ukraine.
