Proposal to Repatriate Meskhetians Passed on Second Reading

Parliament approved a draft law on the repatriation of Meskhetians on its second hearing by 101 votes to two on June 27.

An additional provision stipulating that returnees provide a property declaration was added by the opposition Industrialist Party.
