Saakashvili Visits Europe

President Saakashvili is paying an official visit to Denmark on October 9-10 as part of a wider European tour.

While in Denmark Saakashvili will hold talks with Danish officials to discuss bilateral relations, the president’s press office reported.

From Denmark President Saakashvili will leave for Lithuania on October 10 to participate in a meeting of GUAM leaders – a grouping of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova. He will also attend an energy security conference in Vilnius.

On October 11 the president will pay an official visit to Finland to hold talks with his Finnish counterpart and the prime minister. On October 12 Saakashvili will address a joint Georgian-Finnish business forum.
