U.S. Ambassador, Georgian PM Discussed South Ossetia

U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Miles discussed situation in breakaway South Ossetia with Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania on July 10.
 
Ambassador Richard Miles told reporters after the talks that the United States is well-informed over the situation in South Ossetia and pins hopes for peaceful resolution of the conflict.
 
He expressed hope that Russian Ambassador for special affairs Lev Mironov, who arrives in Tbilisi on July 10, will play a positive role in the conflict resolution.
 
The U.S. Ambassador has already held talks with Georgian State Minister Goga Khaindrava and the OSCE representatives.
