Breakaway Abkhazia Offers Help to Beslan Victims

Acting Prime Minister of unrecognized Abkhazian Republic Raul Khajimba offered the authorities of Russian North Ossetian Republic to help victims of Beslan school siege and expressed readiness to receive them on the resorts of Abkhazia.

?I have already ordered to take all the necessary measures in order to host victims of Beslan terrorist act in the resorts of Gagra and Pitsunda [on the Black Sea coast of Abkhazia],? Russian news agency Interfax reported quoting Khajimba as saying.

?We are in touch with the North Ossetian authorities regarding our proposal,? he added.
