Latvia Assist Georgian Army with Radio Sets

Delegation of the Latvian Defense Ministry, led by the Secretary of State Edgars Rink?vi?s, is visiting Georgia on September 7-10.

During the visit Latvian Deputy Defense Minister will hand over the Georgian Defense Ministry 188 manpack army radio sets SEM-70, the Georgian Defense Ministry reported on September 8.

The assistance is envisaged by the protocol signed by the two ministries in July during the NATO summit in Istanbul.
