Russian Peacekeepers to Hold Maneuvers in South Ossetia
Russian peacekeeping forces, stationed in the South Ossetian conflict zone will launch two-day military exercises on September 15.
The Press and Information Committee of the unrecognized South Ossetian Republic reported that, the maneuvers will be held near the Ossetian village of Prisi on the firing ground of the Russian peacekeeping troops.
According to the South Ossetian side, the Georgian side has been already informed regarding the planned exercises, “which will be held during the daylight.”
